Following the snowstorm and snow clearance, all currently-deployed Hubway stations will reopen as of 4:30 PM on Wednesday, March 15th
The Hubway system was temporarily shut down at 10 AM on Monday. Regular system operations will resume at 4:30 PM after Hubway field staff has cleared snow from all station docks and bikes. This means that all currently-deployed stations in Boston and Cambridge will again be available for use. Remaining stations in Boston, Brookline, and Somerville are expected to reopen later in the season.
PLEASE NOTE: conditions on the roads, bike paths, and adjacent to stations are extremely icy, slick, and windy. Please take extra care when approaching a station, riding, and docking a bike.
As Hubway field staff is still working to clear ice around some stations, please make sure to use an app or visit our station map for real-time dock / bike / station availability.
