Blue Cross launches 100-rainbow themed “Proud Bikes” pedal and ebikes across Bluebikes
system in support of LGBTQIA+ community.

Join us in celebrating Pride Month with the launch of "Proud Bikes" across the Bluebikes system, courtesy of our title sponsor Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Take a ride on one of the 100 rainbow-themed bikes, available in both pedal and ebike formats to join the state’s largest health plan in showing your support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
For every ride taken on a “Proud Bike,” Blue Cross will donate up to $1 (up to $10,000) to Fenway Health, a local organization dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of the LGBTQIA+ community and all diverse communities through innovative, equitable, and accessible health care, supportive services, and transformative research and education.
This is the fifth year that Blue Cross is rolling out “Proud Bikes” to support Fenway Health and shine a spotlight on the ongoing need to enhance equity in health care. Learn more about Blue Cross’ commitment to health equity, here.
