Hubway's newest station, The Eddy at New Street, is deploying today in East Boston. Initially the station has 7 docks, but is expected to expand to 15 docks later in the season.
As of Tuesday afternoon, September 27th, Hubway's 176th station will be open and operational in East Boston. The station is located on the sidewalk south of the Eddy Apartments on New Street. The site is technically beyond New Street, just west of its turn at Sumner Street, bordering LoPresti Park (aka North Ferry Park).
