Set your ebike preference to low assist or full assist mode.
You now have the choice of two ride modes when you unlock an ebike from a station that only has ebikes. Low assist mode feels like and costs the same as a classic bike. Full assist mode has the regular ebike settings and price per minute.
How to set your preference
You can change your default mode preference at any time in your profile or on the Bluebikes app. You'll pay the regular ebike price if you opt for full assist mode.
When you use your Bluebikes key fob, it will automatically default to full assist mode unless you change your preference to low assist.
When you use the app to unlock an ebike, you’ll be asked what mode you would like to choose.
