We’re featuring riders who get out and ride with Bluebikes all month long. On your next ride, snap a photo of your ride experience and share it on Twitter or Instagram. Use hashtag #BBWinterChallenge for a chance to be featured. Submissions can also be sent to hello@bluebikes.com.
1. I won a prize, how do I claim it?
Prizes can be claimed at station pop-ups in early March. We’ll be announcing these locations later in February. Keep an eye out in your email inbox, or check back to this blog post which will be updated.
2. How do I check how many trips I've taken during the Winter Challenge?
You can check how many trips you've taken with the Bluebikes app. You can also check by logging into your online profile.
3. I want to participate, but I'm unsure about biking in the winter.
Stay warm while biking in winter by wearing extra layers and clothing items. Our top recommendations are (1) hats and gloves, (2) warm socks that wick moisture, and (3) face protection.
With the shorter days, we also recommend wearing something reflective. This will help you be more visible while riding. Bike on!
4. I'm not a member, can I still participate?
You must be a member to earn prizes. Not a member? We’ll be hosting surprise pop-ups at random stations throughout the month with special Bluebikes swag items. Keep any eye on our Twitter page!
